Day three of the Inter Regional Track Championships saw a thrilling – and fitting – end to this year’s event. The day started with Wales leading North West by a single point – with the final two events, the Team Sprint and Team Pursuit, scoring double. Inter Regional Track Championships 2010 Day 2 Afternoon
The afternoon session saw Wales regain top spot on the overall leaderboard, thanks to a win, a second, and two thirds to North West’s two wins. It couldn’t be closer, though, with just a single point separating the two. A win and a second for East Midlands looks likely to have secured their third place, with only four points between Central in fourth and the West Midlands in fifth.
Inter Regional Track Championships 2010 Day 2 Morning
The third session of the competition saw the third team at the top of the leaderboard with the continuing North West domination of the sprint competitions powering them ahead of yesterday's leaders Wales. Jess Crampton and Matt Rotherham won the Girls and Boys Keirins, but the team in yellow didn't have it all their own way...
