Despite Quibell Park looking more like a building site around the track at the moment, the organisers managed to run the firsttScunthorpe Track League of the season.
After a damp start to the day the weather improved for the track to dry out for the evening’s racing.
Next week’s league the floodlights will not be available due to the builders isolating the electricity supply. So the racing will be over as soon as the lights fail. The organisers hope to give riders at least 3 races. Racing will start at 7pm prompt.
