As usual, track-specific kit was thin on the ground at the Cycle Show 2011 at the NEC. There are a few bits and pieces – aluminium and carbon track cranksets from FSA, bikes from Dolan, Condor and Peugeot (although the Pug was ‘fixied’ up with cross brakes) – but not much new. We do like the USE chainrings and were particularly taken with the titanium track bike from Spin (On These). We’ve arranged to take one for, well, a spin, so watch this space. Other than that, there was somee nice cross-training equipment (aka road bikes), aero helmets and lots of nutrition products – a selection of which we intend to review over the coming months.
