Ed Clancy visits 2012 Velodrome

Last week, Great Britain track cyclist and recently crowned Men’s Omnium World Champion Ed Clancy paid a visit to the Olympic Velodrome for London 2012. He was there to see how the construction was progressing and arrived in time to see first tile lowered into place in the cable net roofing .

Clancy said ‘Becoming World Champion was an amazing experience and a reminder of the excitement of racing at a major championship, so it was great to see the Olympic Park Velodrome where I hope to compete on home soil in 2012′.
