2010 Track World Championships Start Today

-

The 2010 World Track Championships begin today – 24 March – at the Super Arena in Ballerup near Copenhagen – and trackcycling will be bringing you live coverage from the track with results, reports, photographs and maybe even the odd interview.

The events that will be making the headlines today are the Women’s Individual Pursuit and 500m Time Trials and the Men’s Team Sprint and Points Race – all of which will be decided today. The action begins at 3pm CET – 2pm in the UK – with the Women’s Individual Pursuit Qualifying, but the news is already coming in with the unfortunate withdrawal of Belgium’s Iljo Keisse who crashed in practicse yesterday and has broken his collar bone.

We’re delighted to be part of an ever growing informal network of cycling websites and you’ll also find our coverage, in one form or another at women’s cycling site Bike Envy, Road Cycling (NZ), CyclingFans.com and bf-one.com in the Netherlands.
