The final day of the UEC European Championships witnessed the first running of a Women’s Madison at a senior championships following a successful trial at the Junior Worlds this summer – as well as the Men’s Madison, Men’s Keirin and the conclusion of the Women’s Sprint.

The penultimate day of competition in Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines saw the conclusion of the Men’s Sprint competition and the start of the Women’s as well as the Women’s Omnium, Men’s Individual Pursuit and Men’s Points Races.
The third day of competition saw the first running at a major event of the new Omnium format – with four bunch races – Scratch, Tempo, Elimination and Points – all run on the same day. The crowd were also treated to the first half of the Men’s Sprint competition,
